Graduate Engineering Geologist

Our Geo-environmental team undertakes a diverse range of projects across various sectors, to deliver geo-environmental and geotechnical consultancy services backed up by in-house ground investigation services., We have an opportunity for a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join our Geo-environment team working in contaminated land, geotechnical assessment, site investigation and brownfield redevelopment across a variety of market sectors including property & regeneration, utilities, defence estates and transport. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to become part of the team with the opportunity to progress their career across a range of exciting projects.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate that they have a genuine interest in this field and ideally have some limited work experience such as a work placement role.

• Undertaking desk top study assessments


• Assisting with the design, procurement, supervision and management of geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations.


• Accurate collection, analysis and interpretation of site data


• Producing interpretative contamination and geotechnical reports


• Undertaking ground gas & groundwater monitoring works and assessment.
  
  You will have a minimum 2:1 degree in geology, engineering geology, or related subject


• The enthusiasm and determination to learn and progress within the fields of engineering geology, contaminated land, site investigation and brownfield redevelopment.


• Commitment to studying towards professional qualification e.g. chartered geologist


• Strong analytical, written, communication and presentation skills


• Preferable to have relevant work experience e.g. a work placement


• Excellent teamwork skills but also able to work independently and use initiative


• Full Driving Licence
