Graduate Hydraulic Modeller

Our busy and growing team are looking for a talented individual to support us on our current and upcoming projects as a Graduate Hydraulic Modeller in Durham, based at Northumbrian Water Groups co-located offices.Â, This role is a key part of the water team and you will be working on exciting and diverse projects throughout the North East and the rest of the UK. As a Graduate Hydraulic Modeller you will be responsible for the following:Â

• Support on hydraulic modelling studies, Sewerage Management Planning, Network Modelling as well as other projects requiring detailed technical analysis / asset managementÂ


• Searching for and organising data and information;Â


• Data analysis, visualisation and programming (eg. FME, Power BI)Â


• Feasibility studies/options development: Asset Performance Assessments/Reviews, Report preparation/drawings, scheduling of work for sub-contractors and third-party survey teams, and liaison during the projects.Â


• Provide technical capability on wastewater projects as part of a project teamÂ


• Assist the Project Manager in the management/co-ordination of projectsÂ


• Contributing to technical reports and presentations;Â Â


• Supporting the development of proposals for new projects.Â


An interest in developing a career in Urban Drainage modelling/Asset management is a requirement of this role, to gain a full understanding of new projects and different clients, which will provide fresh experiences and support your development.Â
