Full Job Description

As a Graduate Project Manager, you will take responsibility for ensuring that we deliver on our customer commitments at the right time, at the right cost and to the best possible quality. Your work will give you the breadth of experience to succeed and tasks could include controlling budgets and expenditure, covering the governance of change within projects, resourcing, fulfilling contractual requirements or interfacing with our customers. What's certain is that your contribution will aid the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) and our international customers to receive the capability they need to operate effectively and easily.,

  • You could find yourself assisting with a wide variety of tasks for example controlling budgets and expenditure.
  • You will also be involved with reporting, decision making and covering the governance of change within projects.
  • Managing project progress, identifying emerging issues and trends, fulfilling contractual requirements and interfacing with our customers.
  • You might also get involved in reviewing performance, analyzing risks and informing decisions to optimize project success.

    As a minimum requirement you'll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the following - Degree relating to Project Management, Mathematics, IT, English, Engineering, Science or Business - including Law Psychology, Sociology & Humanities based subjects.

    BAE Systems offers a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements. However, it is expected on our Graduate programme you will be required to attend your site 3-4 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager.
