Graduate Scheme Engineers at AB Dynamics enjoy the unique opportunity of working on all key AB Dynamics products. Contributing to the development, testing and global distribution of all key products, you will develop a broad range of technical and transferrable skills. Upon completion of the scheme you will have the ideal foundation for a successful engineering career within the automotive testing industry and your specialist field. This is a permanent role with the first 18 months spent rotating through various disciplines and areas of the business to really secure a broad knowledge of Engineering, within AB Dynamics. Candidates will be selected with either a Systems Engineering and Electrical Engineering bias in mind. The closing date for this opportunity is Friday 31 January 2025, however may close sooner owing to the volume of applications. What will you be doing?

  • Perform 3-month 'rotations', working on various projects across a range of disciplines at AB Dynamics
  • Investigate complex technical issues, identifying and developing solutions in a variety of disciplines.
  • Work with customers, performing demonstrations and improving their understanding of our products.
  • Perform a 6-month 'rotation' within an engineering design team, learning from highly experienced engineers and contributing to cutting-edge projects.
  • Develop transferrable skills, delivering progress update presentations and undergoing company organised trainings.

    On-track to achieve a 2:1 or higher in a relevant engineering discipline this academic year - including, but not limited to, Automotive, Mechatronics, Electrical, Software, Mechanical or Robotics Engineering.
  • Confident and effective communicator with a good level of written and oral English
  • Ability to build a rapport with others
  • Valid Driving License holder
  • A broad knowledge/awareness/love of technology; automotive interest desirable, but not essential
