Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Graduate Sports Assistant to join our PE and Sports Department for one year to assist in all areas of the department from help with lessons, to supporting staff in coaching sessions and fixtures (Key Stage 2 through to Key Stage 5). In addition to this the successful candidate is required to fulfil one boarding duty per week.

This role would suit a sports graduate student looking to gain work experience in an educational environment. You will be given the opportunity to further your professional development and we would look to create opportunities or projects that you may wish to lead on, to give you further responsibility and an insight into teaching. The successful candidate will be an energetic and keen individual who desires to contribute to a happy and encouraging team of professionals and work within a forward-moving department at both our Senior School and Prep School sites. You will have knowledge and experience in as many of the following sports as possible: Hockey, Netball, Athletics/Cross-Country, Swimming, Gymnastics, Tennis, Rounders, Football, Handball, Badminton, Cricket, Rugby and Basketball. You will be experienced in sports technology, video analysis, data collection, and possess good IT skills, as you will be expected to run the PE and Sports Departments social media platforms.
