L3Harris in Bristol/Burgess Hill/Barrow provides enduring, robust and cutting edge Platform Management Systems (PMS) for both the UK Royal Navy sub-surface and surface fleets, notably current Astute submarine and Queen Elizabeth Class (QEC) aircraft carriers, in-build Type 26 and Type 31 frigates - this skill set also extends into cruise liners and super-yachts in the commercial marine market. Your new role: We are looking for a Graduate Supply Chain Coordinator to administer the company's purchasing processed and to provide supply chain management and procurement support to the day to day operations of programmes and bids within MAPPS. What you'll be doing:

  • Production and coordination of purchase requisitions and purchase orders, including ongoing administration to ensure data integrity and control.
  • Preparation of RFQs and analysis of supplier responses to ensure the optimal procurement solution is presented to the business.
  • Preparation, negotiation and administration of subcontracts and statements of work to ensure business requirements are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Processing of supplier invoices ensuring all deliverables have been met and appropriate budget holder sign-off is obtained in a timely manner.
  • Liaison with project teams to ensure procurement requirements are communicated and considered, and supply chain support is provided appropriately.
  • Conducting supplier progress reviews, management of action trackers, and managing ongoing performance of suppliers to ensure on time delivery, quality and contracted obligations are being met.
  • Maintenance of performance metrics where required and supporting functional reporting requirements.
  • Maintenance of key due diligence and supplier approval documentation.
  • What you'll bring:
  • 2:1 or above in Business Management (or similar) or equivalent qualification and experience (e.g. Apprenticeship)
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Looking to identify opportunities for continuous improvement within own role
  • Contribute and work collaboratively with the wider team
