Responsibilities: WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING As a Graduate you will be expected to be involved in a number of areas in order to develop a broad understanding of the Products and Services we are involved with. You will work across all aspects of product development engineering, from requirements, through to design and implementation and then test and release. You will be working on active projects developing application software used to test and simulate various avionic systems. Test Systems provides equipment used to develop and test components such as Head-Up Displays, mission and flight control computers, and flight controls.,

  • All aspects of product development engineering, from requirements, through design and implementation to test and release.
  • Working will include SW development using Labview and TestStand toolsets, but also bespoke internal test development tools.
  • Supporting aspects of the Hardware deployment solution.
  • Supporting detailed integration to prove the Test Systems, allowing test of Prime Hardware, throughout development and production.
  • The breadth of activities above gives an indication of the wide array of activities carried out by the department.

    As a minimum requirement you'll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, IT Development, Electrical Hardware Engineering, Aeronautical and Systems Engineering.

    BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our Graduate programme you will be required to attend your site a minimum of 4 days per week.. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager.
