Full Job Description
Our Graham Eyes butchers enhance our SPAR stores by bringing knowledge, skill and great customer service. Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing As a Graham Eyes Butcher, you will be responsible for ensuring high quality meat products for our customers, providing exceptional service whilst always maintaining food safety standards.
- Producing meat for sale including bone out carcasses with good cutting standards
- Ensuring that all food safety and health and safety regulations are met within the butchery department
- Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products
- Keeping records, budgets, and inventory
- Greeting and speaking to customers, providing advice, answering questions, and accepting orders or payments
- Controlling waste
Be helpful and friendly and feel comfortable working with the public - To be enthusiastic, committed and self motivated
- Adopts a 'can do' attitude to challenging situations
- Have a flexible approach to working hours
- Thorough knowledge of HACCPS
- Proven experience in a butchery environment
