Full Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to be the Grain Store & Site Manager for Rand Brothers at Hatchpen Farm, Royston. The business is large and varied including a significant farming operation. The storage business comprises some 40,000 tonnes of grain storage and grain processing for a variety of crops.

This role is an important part of the overall business and with significant autonomy, the manager will report directly to the Partners. Together you will plan and set the strategy and targets to continue developing and growing the business.

As Grain Store Manager you will be responsible for managing the storage and haulage team as well as liaising with the farming and office teams. The successful candidate will need to be well organised and whilst prior storage experience isn't necessary, a good background in managing teams and delivering results is important.

As well as overseeing the store and the relationships with those storing crops at Hatchpen Farm, the Grain Store Manager will have responsibility for all stock records and the TASCC audit and accreditation. The role will also lead on Health & Safety matters and ensure the site is managed to the highest of standards.
