Full Job Description

Your team: The Broadcasting Digital team are responsible for all video, social and web content created for our brands talkSport, Virgin Radio UK, TImes Radio, Talk and Piers Morgan Uncensored. Working closely with our editorial colleagues, this covers everything from long-form video features to short reactive clips and is essential in building our audiences and driving revenue. Your role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive designer to support our busy, creative team. Working closely alongside the producers, you will primarily be tasked with developing new identities for our social video franchises and creating in-show assets to work alongside these. As well as this you will assist the Head of Design with wider overarching brand development work and support for presentations and other ad hoc assets where required. Day to day you will:

  • Work with the show producers to develop identities for show franchises
  • Create bespoke assets and thumbnails for those shows
  • Help develop motion stings and graphics for these
  • Assist the wider team with ad-hoc design requests
  • Work closely with the Head of Design on wider brand development of our key broadcasting brands
  • Act as a brand guardian for our master brands when assets are rolled out
  • Attend creative brainstorm sessions

    Passionate about design and the creative world around you, we need someone who comes with fresh ideas and pushes what we are doing creatively
  • Experience working in a design agency or inhouse studio
  • Proactive, restless and driven to get things done, we work fast!
  • A lover of branding and typography
  • Confident and knowledgeable about designing for social platforms
  • Looking for a great office based working culture (we are all in 4 days a week)
  • An interest in sport is useful (much of what we do is for talkSPORT) but not essential
  • A working knowledge of after effects useful but again not essential
