Graphics Finishing Operative

This role is designed to work within the Production Team to lead the day-to-day operations of the Graphic finishing team.

Within this role you will be required to utilise your strong organisational skills to successfully support the coordination of production activities.

Within this role you will be responsible for the operations within the graphic finishing production area. You will have responsibility of ensuring the machines you use are operational and in good working order.

As a Graphic Finishing Operative you are to manage your time efficiently and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Working within an innovative signage business, you will be carrying out a high-paced, challenging, and demanding role, where the

ability to work within and outside of a team is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-­to-­day general



• Receive scheduled jobs using company MIS System



• Notify via MIS if jobs will not be complete at required time



• Ensure that jobs are scheduled correctly to team and work with managers to ensure correct scheduling



• Establish tasks set on a daily basis and meeting deadlines as given by the Production Manager



• Read and interpret drawings and production specifications



• Production of vinyl graphics ready for installation/ application



• Operation of Kronsberg



• Complete Banner finishing



• Complete lamination tasks



• Meet production quality and output levels and make sure they are optimised at all times



• Be responsible for the Quality check all finished products before wrapping and packing



• Maintain a safe and organised working environment by following company procedures and wearing appropriate


PPE equipment


• Maximising the output of the machines to make sure there's no backlog.



• Work with the coordination team to ensure goods are dispatched in a timely manner



• Actively work as part of the Production team



• Support the wider departments as and when required


Health and Safety


• Adhere to supplied operating instructions/ Risk Assessments



• Ensure all machines are inspected inline with HSE requirements



• Ensure compliance with all H&S related procedures, This job position is based from the Astra Signs in Trafford Park but may require the individual to attend on-site meetings
