As a Greggs Shop Manager at UWE Bristol, you'll lead by example, ensuring operational excellence while developing a high-performing team. Your role will be centred around creating an inviting, efficient, and customer-focused shop experience by adhering to Greggs' core values and operational standards. You'll manage a young and enthusiastic team who are eager to learn and develop, and you'll play a pivotal role in mentoring and scheduling them effectively. The position offers you the chance to lead confidently, inspire resilience, and manage day-to-day operations, including rostering in a way that balances your team members' availability.

- Proven experience of leading a team within a service environment
- Proven experience of managing operations within a catering service
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and line manager
- Experience of delivering relevant training, using company guidelines
- Understanding of relevant Health & Safety, Employment and other legislative requirements
- Experience of implementation and adherence to HACCP
- Experience dealing with branded outlets is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to standards
- Proven IT skills
- Ability to deal with stressful situations with a flexible approach to the role
- Analyse problems, develop opportunities and implement innovative solution
Flexible Monday to Friday schedule with occasional weekend shifts (overtime paid) - Generous holiday break: two weeks off during Christmas
