Ground Maintenance Operative

RJ Groundcare Ltd is looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative who can deliver a range of services at the highest standard.

We are a small but expanding business based in Towersey and carry out work in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and surrounding areas. Established in 2015, we currently have a team of 7 operatives.

A suitable candidate will have the responsibility to work well in a team to maintain and care for the upkeep of gardens and a variety of sites.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Grounds maintenance


• Hedge cutting, Grass cutting, Strimming


• Planting, Weed control, Soft Landscaping


• Leaf blowing


• Woodland maintenance


• A range of other site-specific tasks


• Ensuring all sites are left clean and tidy


• Driving company vehicles to maneuver machinery and equipment


• Maintaining the upkeep of equipment and tools
  
  Clear communication with a commitment to customer service


• Works well to deadlines


• Can integrate well into a team


• Happy to work outside in all seasons with a hands-on attitude


• Needs to be physically capable of carrying out manual handling tasks


• Punctual, polite, enthusiastic, and willing to learn


Requirements:

• Need previous Landscaping or Grounds Maintenance experience


• A CSCS card is required (can be organised for the successful applicant if you do not hold one).
  
  PPE and uniforms are supplied.


• Working hours are 7 am - 5 pm (season dependent).


• Working days are Monday - Friday, with regular weekend work available.


• 28 days paid holiday, including Bank Holidays.


• Will require transport to and from Towersey


• Need to be 25 or over for van insurance purposes.
