Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Ground Operations Team, based at our Head Office at Leeds Bradford Airport. Reporting to the Ground Operations Manager - Technical, the Ground Operations Executive - Technical will play a key role in supporting the department and various airport-based Ground Operations Teams across the network. Being a key point of contact within the company for all Ground Operations related matters, you will help promote a safe and 'just' culture across the network by providing expertise, guidance and advice to colleagues and third-party service providers on procedures, policies, and associated legislation as well as creating documentation to support compliance across the business area.,

  • Act as a key contact for all aircraft weight and balance matters, including the timely processing of updated weight information within company systems, maintenance of the AHM565, reporting, promotion of best practice, and assistance with system developments

  • You will be instrumental in the production and maintenance of Ground Operations Instructions and associated company manuals, including the Ground Handling Manual and Ground Operations Procedures Manual and ensuring all stations are kept updated on Jet2.com's policies and procedures.

  • Provide assistance and guidance on the carriage of dangerous goods items, ensuring such items are carried safely and in accordance with industry requirements, as well as assisting with investigations and other related matters

  • Control and management of the departmental EGOS system, ensuring the provision of accounts, the issuance of documentation and overall maintenance of the system

  • Liaise closely with colleagues and service partners across the business, both in the UK and Overseas, and ensure we are compliant with the highest levels of safety and consistency across all areas of the operation.

  • Play a key support role to company Charter Programme and any relevant lease aircraft operations from a Ground Operations perspective

    The successful candidate will already be demonstrating Role Model behaviours and will have extensive previous experience within an airside or customer facing Ground Operations role. You will be a subject matter expert on procedures relating to Dangerous Goods with first-hand experience of aircraft weight and balance. You will be enthusiastic, self motivated, have excellent planning and organisational skills, as well as a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Knowledge of a European language is desirable, Spanish would be an advantage. Strong IT skills are required, including being proficient with Microsoft Excel to an advanced level.
