Full Job Description
St. Peter's CE Primary School is a popular two form entry school on a split site in Birmingham. The Governors are looking to recruit a Grounds Maintenance Person to work alongside the Site Manager and as part of the team and be responsible for the structural upkeep and maintenance of all areas of the school including the buildings, grounds, and plant machinery. To join our great team, we are looking for someone who will have responsibilities to include:
- to ensure equipment, facilities and classrooms meet the needs of the school
- will seek to maintain and build on good practice
- is willing to be flexible and adapt to change
- highly motivated and able to manage your own workloads
- is committed to working with staff
- reporting to the School Business Manager and Site Manager
- to ensure all activities and work undertaken meets the Health and Safety standards
- to be responsible, for the security and safety of the school contents and users at all times, including holiday periods and out of hours
