Full Job Description

To provide a professional, proactive, customer focussed service to the organisation within the relevant service area. Lead, manage and motivate a team of grounds maintenance operatives to ensure work is carried out in line with service standards

  • Experience of working within the cleaning and/or grounds maintenance industry
  • The ability to use manual and mechanical cleaning equipment
  • The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Good record keeping skills
  • A working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
  • A full driving license, Effective communication skills - verbal and written
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Experience of use of GM Machinery
  • Current full and valid UK driving license
  • Ability to use basic IT applications such as MS Outlook
  • Ability to keep clear and accurate records
  • Basic skills in carrying out minor works to a competent DIY standard
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contractors
