Full Job Description
We're looking for a proactive and organised individual to join our busy Board Secretariat Team. You will play a critical role ensuring the smooth operation of our Board and Committee meetings, providing support to our Non-Executive Directors as well as supporting the team with other day-to-day tasks and projects.,
- Support arrangements for Board and Committee meetings - this includes on the day support which will require some flexible working outside of normal business hours.
- Ensure papers, presentations and other activities are ready for Board and Committee meetings.
- Organise Board lunches, dinners and other events, as required as well as logistics for offsite visits.
- Arrange travel and accommodation for NEDs and process their expenses.
- Provide general support to NEDs, for example arranging internal / external meetings.
- Support the Board Secretariat team with board recruitment and induction activity and other day-to-day tasks and projects.
- Maintain accurate files and records, as required.
Your excellent communication skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task will be essential. Along with experience of diary management, handling confidential information and engaging with Directors and/or senior-leaders., Experience of working in a PA/Business Assistant role, ideally at Board/Executive level and/or experience of working in a company secretary, governance, administrative or similar environment. - Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent time management and meticulous attention to detail.
- Professionalism and the ability of working with upmost confidence.
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office.
- Straightforward communication style.
- Evidence of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
