Full Job Description

The Group Director of Operations is a key leadership role with the Trust, responsible for the safe and effective delivery of services. The successful applicant will work as part of a triumvirate to deliver the strategic ambitions of the Trust.

The total Care Group budget to manage is £280 million and a staff group of circa 2800.

The post holder will be accountable for the performance of their Care Group alongside the Group Director of Nursing and Group Medical Director in delivering national and local health care priorities, ensuring clinical quality, delivery of all constitutional standards, patient safety, finance and improving patient and staff experience.

We are seeking to appoint a new Group Director of Operations to our Women's, Children, Cancer and Specialist Support Services (WCCSS). The Care Group is one of three Care Groups in the Trust, covering all aspects of emergency and planned care across a number of services including diagnostics, women's & children's services and cancer.
