Full Job Description

As a vital member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by overseeing all aspects of highways asset management, ensuring that our council achieves the desired outcomes and maintains the highest standards. In this role, you will take charge of developing, implementing, and maintaining the Asset Management Plan and associated strategies, policies, and processes. The role is varied and will require you to liaise with councillors, clients, stakeholders, statutory bodies, and the public.

With a strong focus on continuous improvement, you will have the chance to make a lasting impact on the future of highways asset management in Salford. Your deep understanding of asset management principles, risk-based prioritisation and your proactive approach to communications will be instrumental in driving our success and enhancing our operational efficiency.
