Location: Community based in venues across North Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire, with some home working elements. Join us as a Group Facilitator to provide a range of vibrant, supportive groups to people with a dementia diagnosis and carers. The groups include, but are not limited to, Memory Cafes, Activity Groups and Singing for the Brain. They take place in community venues across North Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire, as well as virtually. The groups are well established and a crucial means of support to service users. • Excellent communication skills to engage people in group activities.
  • Understand the importance of volunteers in group services, plus the ability to role manage volunteers to support them in their role.
  • Experience of co-ordinating individuals/teams or volunteers.
  • Excellent time management skills including managing own workload.
  • The ability to travel independently to the locations the service covers across North Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
  • A warm and welcoming nature and approach.
