Full Job Description

  • Collaborate Effectively: Build strong relationships with colleagues, external partners, and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Work with Stakeholders: Contribute to the strategic direction of ALS and SEND support working with the Assistant Principal for Student Experience and Support

    Proven leadership experience in a similar role within education or a relevant field
  • In-depth knowledge of SEND, ALS, and inclusive education practices
  • Strong budget management and financial acumen
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • In addition to the above, the ideal candidate will:
  • Hold a degree or professional-level qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Possess a Management Certificate/Diploma
  • Hold a full teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, DET) (desirable).
  • Have a specialist level 5 or above qualification in SpLD or similar
  • Be experienced in managing a diverse team and motivating staff to achieve high levels of performance.
  • Be passionate about safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
