Full Job Description
This is primarily an operational HR Advisor role, undertaking highly practical, people-based activities across the Kinovo Group and supporting the Group HR Manager. You will be/have
- Effective Communication: The role requires strong communication skills, particularly in handling complex and difficult situations with professionalism, empathy, and clarity.
- Written Communication: The candidate should demonstrate excellent written communication skills, essential for drafting legally compliant documents and minimizing the risk of employment tribunals.
- Personable and Discreet: The ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust at all levels of the organisation is key
- Relationship-Building: Capable of creating effective working relationships with both management and staff.
- Effective Questioning Techniques: The ability to ask the right questions to thoroughly understand the issue or concern raised, whether it's from an individual or a group.
- Pragmatic Problem Solving: The candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, focusing on generating practical and effective solutions for workplace challenges.
- Highly Organised: The role involves managing multiple priorities, so the candidate should excel in organising their own workload.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy is crucial, particularly when dealing with HR documentation, contracts, and legal compliance.
- Driving Licence & Own Transport: Given the sector and potential site visits, candidates must have a valid driving licence and access to their own vehicle., CIPD Level 5 Qualified: Candidates should have completed Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Level 5 qualification, or possess equivalent experience that qualifies them for this role.
- Operational HR Experience: Candidates should have prior hands-on HR experience, especially in the construction or building services industries.
- Employee Relations (ER) Knowledge: A solid understanding of employee relations, including the practical ability to manage conflicts, disciplinary actions, grievances, and workplace disputes. Working within a small HR Team, you will be involved in
