Do you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of stroke survivors and people with long-term health conditions? Are you organised, enthusiastic, and love working collaboratively?
We are looking for a motivated Groups and Outreach Coordinator to join our dynamic team on a 0.8 FTE (4 days per week) basis. The role is fully funded until June 2025 with the intention of extending this, subject to external funding.
About the Role:
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting and delivering our thriving social groups projects as well as launching our pilot Stroke mentor project. You will work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to:
Support and deliver ReConnect's engaging groups and activities: Support the planning of groups, events, workshops, and outings that cater to diverse interests and needs.
Support and deliver: our pilot Stroke Mentor project
Promotion and outreach: Spread the word about our groups' programme through marketing materials and community engagement.
Maintain records: Ensure accurate and efficient recordkeeping for all group activities and participants, always maintaining confidentiality
Monitor and evaluate: Track group participation, analyse project effectiveness, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Experience working with groups or communities and ability to adapt accordingly.
Experience working with disabled people and/or those with long term health conditions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and abilities
Strong organisational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritise workload.
Enthusiasm for teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Resilient and forward thinking, with a willingness to be flexible
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Full driving license and willingness to travel countywide, Disability Confident

Salary £25,300 (FTE)
Travel paid at 50p/per mile
