Groups and Events Sales Coordinator

We are looking for a driven, diligent and friendly Groups and Events Coordinator to join the team at The London EDITION hotel. As a Groups and Events Coordinator you will:

• Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott, including up selling.
• Contact appropriate individual or department (e.g., Sales, Data Administration, and Accounting) as necessary to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
• Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
• Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing).
  
  Demonstrates exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with guests, co-workers, and management.
• Possesses strong attention to detail and organizational abilities for managing multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Exhibits sales acumen to maximize revenue through upselling opportunities and effective negotiation.
• Displays a customer-focused approach and problem-solving skills to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
