Growth and Capital Analyst - London Bridge, London

We are looking for a Growth and Capital manager who will provide a broad range of finance business partnering to the Capital Projects and Asset Management teams at iQ. They will ensure strong financial discipline is applied to decision making for major capital investments (major developments and asset management initiatives) and that there is effective monitoring and reporting of the Capital Projects team activities so that projects are delivered in line with financial expectations.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• All inputs and accompanying presentation materials for long-range plans, the annual budgeting process and in-year reforecast updates ensuring clear communication with relevant stakeholders.


• Preparation of Executive Committee monthly reporting pack including ownership of full month end process and timeline


• Preparation of cashflow forecasts which accurately reflect future cash needs, highlighting risks and opportunities


• Ensuring that liquidity forecasts produced by Treasury and the Finance Business Planning team accurately reflect latest capex cashflow forecasts


• Supporting lender reporting including regular covenant reporting


• Preparation of periodic shareholder reporting requirements, ensuring consistency with other reporting and forecasting within the business


• Identifying and reporting financial risks and opportunities at both a project and consolidated level


• Owning integrity of Job Cost Ledger in our financial reporting system (Yardi) to ensure budgets are in line with approvals


• Working with asset management and group reporting on any inputs required for external valuation including ensuring accurate information is provided in time


• Supporting the Group Reporting team in the preparation of year end requirements


• Develop and enhance the commercial finance forecasting tool (Anaplan) to drive efficiency and analytical insight


• Support any refinancing and due diligence processes by providing accurate historical and forecast financial data and KPI's in addition to any supporting documents and explanations as required


• Ad hoc capex underwriting analysis to support M&A activity (asset acquisitions and disposals, as well as corporate transactions)


• Line management of trainee accountant, providing guidance and supporting their professional development
  
  Experience of working in a similar role within a fast-paced multi-site business


• Experience of using databases and other analytical tools


• Strong commercial experience and acumen


• Confident interacting with senior stakeholders


• Strong team working and interpersonal skills


• Strong management skills


• Good communicator with the ability to interpret and explain complex financial data
