Full Job Description

  • Work closely with our Head of People Experience, and L&D Manager, to develop training materials focussed on delivering an exceptional guest experience
  • Collaborate across teams: work closely with various Staycity departments to understand their training needs and align learning programs with the brand's goals.
  • Develop brand specific learning content: create compelling learning resources custom-tailored for Staycity
  • Deliver dynamic training programs: conduct training sessions at Staycity, in formats such as workshops, webinars, and in-person sessions
  • Partner, where needed, with best-in-class external training providers- collaborating with them to ensure brand-specific and carefully curated content is delivered to our Operations teams
  • Support our Head of F&B with the rollout of F&B specific training programs which align with our reimagined F&B offer across our properties
  • Work alongside the Operations teams to roll out training programs- identifying training capability within our Operations teams and supporting them to deliver relevant training for their teams where applicable
  • Evaluate learning tools effectiveness: continuously assess the effectiveness of any training programs through feedback and metrics, contributing to data-driven decision-making for performance improvement.

    3+ years of hands-on experience in a Learning and Development role, in a guest or customer service focussed hospitality environment
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful training across diverse formats and populations
  • Experience working across European geographies (this is preferable but not essential!)
  • Experience in delivering tailored training programs and learning materials to meet the unique needs of employee groups
  • Demonstrates strong communication and facilitation skills, creating engaging sessions that resonate with our teams.
  • Skilled at adapting training sessions to cater to unique populations across our organisation
  • Strong collaboration with teams across the organisation, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth

This role will look after our brand, Staycity; - established 20 years ago in Dublin and made up of 26 Aparthotels across 5 countries. This is a pivotal and newly created role within our People team, reporting into our Head of People Experience- Properties. As Guest Service Trainer for Staycity, you will lead the design and rollout of best-in-class training programs; - oriented around empowering our teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience for each, and every guest that stays or dines at Staycity. You will support us in developing and implementing a range of training programs across our Operations teams- whether supporting our F&B, Housekeeping and Front Office teams to exceed our guest expectations.
