Full Job Description

We are looking for an individual with an engaging personality and a natural ability to build strong relationships to join our gym team. The successful applicant will work alongside our team of gym instructors delivering the high level of customer service our users expect whilst conducting inductions and assessments and supporting our members to achieve their fitness goals., Duties will include leading personal fitness programmes, fitness assessments, retention, delivering group exercise classes as per your qualifications and the day-to-day operations of the gym floor.

Chelmsford Sport and Athletics Centre (CSAC) is a major sporting venue with first class indoor and outdoor athletics facilities. It provides significant opportunities for elite athletes as well as the local community. As part of Chelmsford City Council's ongoing commitment to providing high-quality health and fitness facilities, the Gym at the centre has recently undergone a refurbishment which has involved the expansion of the main gym to include a designated free weight zone, functional training area and exciting new equipment. The position is offered on a casual basis to cover the opening hours of Chelmsford Sports and Athletics Centre, from 7am to 10.00pm, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
