Full Job Description

Now now have available a full time, Band 4 Gynaecology Colposcopy Supervisor to work at The Royal Oldham Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to undertake the day-to-day supervision of teams across the NCA, providing an efficient and high-quality Colposcopy service to support the Directorate. You will be required to ensure cover throughout the operating hours of the Centre.,

  • Ensure all telephone calls are dealt with in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Participate and take lead in departmental meetings.
  • Participate in creating an environment conducive to the acquisition of further knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain good relationships, communicating with all disciplines of staff within the Trust and relevant external agencies.
  • Actively participate in the department and in other group meetings.
  • Assist in the investigation of complaints and any issues which may result in conflict
  • Responsible for the supervision and training of staff within the department to ensure that day to day all services can be provided within your area of responsibility.
  • Monitor the workload activity levels via the use of telephony technology and make recommendations for change when necessary. After agreement with appropriate line manager implement any agreed change.
  • Review clerical tasks and duties ensuring targets are reached and high levels of activity are evident in the workplace.
