Full Job Description

Come and use your building skills as part of our maintenance team at Hertfordshire County Council, Gypsy & Traveller Service. You will be part of a team running and maintaining our residential sites. Whilst our office is based in Hatfield the work is County wide and you will be required to have a full driving licence, vehicle and your own tools., Our well-established maintenance team are looking for an experienced Multi-Trader to join us to provide a high standard of repairs and maintenance

Responsibilities in the role will include carrying out repairs to property as part of a team and maintaining tidiness in the public areas, and to encourage tenants to keep their plots presentable.

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have excellent building maintenance and customer service skills?, This is a fast-paced environment; you will be carrying out reactive maintenance and planned improvements on our residential sites. Therefore, you'll need to be able to work under pressure and be extremely well organised, taking a pro-active approach to your workload.

- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- A full driving licence
- Excellent customer service skills
