Full Job Description
The purpose of this role is to actively coordinate and facilitate prompt investigations, diagnostics and clinical review, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, thereby improving quality of care and experience for patients ensuring timely access to haematology treatment. The post holder will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of a database to ensure that patients who are entered onto the patient stratified follow up pathway are appropriately managed.
We are looking for a proactive, creative thinker who enjoys problem solving to join our Navigator team. This is a varied role that brings great job satisfaction. This position is 37.5 hours per week Monday- Friday., The post holder will work closely with the multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the efficient management of the patient stratified follow up pathway. To assist in the site specific data collection processes, diagnostic cancer pathway waiting times and national cancer data sets and input on various information systems., We are the specialist centre for major trauma for the North Midlands and North Wales.
