Full Job Description

The successful applicant will work within a small supportive team and develop close working relationships with the Research Networks assisting in the attainment of national targets in the recruitment of patients into clinical trials. Mentorship and specialist training will be provided., The post holder will co ordinate a portfolio of local, national and international trials, by interviewing, recruiting and supervising treatment for those patients who choose to participate in the trials and supporting collection of trial data within outpatient and in patient setting. They will develop links with other directorates with in the Trust and also with the other local Trusts.

The post holder must be an RN, with a significant nursing experience including Haematology or Clinical Research. With phlebotomy skills, experience of teaching junior staff both qualified and unqualified. The post holder must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with ability to work on own initiative working autonomously and as part of a multi - professional team. IT skills are essential.
Additional/useful: Health service or Nursing related degree/diploma.
