Full Job Description
Your role will involve working as part of the Oxford Hand Therapy Team providing musculoskeletal assessment, management and treatment for patients referred for hand Therapy. The unit is part of the physiotherapy department and run clinics across the Trust, which include the John Radcliffe Hospital, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and the Horton General Hospital.
A position has become available for a motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with some experience in Hand Therapy to join the Oxford Hand Therapy Unit. You will work alongside experienced therapists and hand surgeons who specialise in Orthopaedics, Plastics and Trauma at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and the John Radcliffe Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic physiotherapist or occupational therapist that is eager and willing to learn new skills and assist in the development and integration of the Oxford Hand Therapy Unit across the Oxford University Hospital sites. The Hand Therapy Unit includes Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists and you will develop your own skills within the unit in a supportive, friendly and learning environment. You will need to have a minimum of 2 years' postgraduate experience as a band 6 and some experience of hand therapy.,
