Handyman / Handyperson

We are looking for an enthusiastic Handyperson to undertake general maintenance tasks around our offices and labs based in Clapham.

Tasks will include:
Basic plumbing work including
- Replacing taps
- Fixing leaks

Basic electrical work including
- Changing light fittings
- Replacing batteries in emergency lights

General maintenance and upkeep including
- Fixing leaks in the roof
- Cleaning /replacing downpipes and gutters
- Unblocking drains
- Painting walls and woodwork
- Assembling or fixing furniture
- Assist with testing of fire systems

Basic vehicle maintenance on our fleet of vans
- Checking and topping up tyre pressure
- Refilling oil or washer fluid
- Dropping off / picking van up from garage

It is also intended that the successful candidate can, with suitable training, assist with face fit testing and PAT testing.
This is a Monday to Friday role working at our offices in Clapham.

The Person

You will be positive, proactive and willing to help out. The ideal person will have prior experience in a similar role or closely related experience. You must be physically fit and comfortable working at height. You should be willing to work in accordance with health and safety regulations and procedures. Relevant City and Guilds or equivalent trade qualifications are desirable but not specifically required.

You should have a full UK/EU driving licence.

Salary will be based on your experience and skills.
