Full Job Description

London Business School are looking for a Handyperson - Maintenance Tradesperson to join our Campus Services & Estates team on a permanent basis.

As a Handyperson - Maintenance Tradesperson you will be responsible general maintenance works around campus, i.e painting and general furniture repairs among a variety of other jobs You will also be responding to emergencies to completing planned maintenance work. Reporting to the Building Services Manager, you will operate across campus responding to emergencies and proactively improving our facilities.

Please note that due to the nature of the role shift working is essential and one weekend day a month is required.,

  • High-quality support service provided to all stakeholders.

  • Production of high-quality materials.

  • Up-to-date diary management.

  • Timely response to and resolution of enquiries, requests and issues.

  • Accuracy and integrity of data in business systems.

  • Development of relationships within and outside the team, and positive feedback from colleagues.

  • Positive feedback from project managers.

  • Compliance with processes, procedures and standards.

    Professional Qualification Required - E.g. City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 minimum.

  • Experience working within a building maintenance environment.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to address a variety of stakeholders.

  • Sound working knowledge of standard IT packages, systems and/or databases.

  • Proactive approach to relationship development with colleagues.

  • Good attention to detail.

  • Good time management skills with the ability to organise and prioritise.

  • Good team working skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

  • Ability to interpret and apply guidelines to a specific activity.

  • Experience of working in a customer-facing environment.
