Full Job Description
As a Hardware Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, testing, and validating electronic systems, with a strong emphasis on both analogue and digital circuits. Your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing faults, conducting thorough testing, and creating detailed documentation for functional and fault isolation testing. You will leverage your experience with design tools such as Orcad or Altium to develop robust electronic solutions that meet stringent safety-critical requirements., Design and analyze digital electronics and Microprocessor systems, alongside analogue electronic circuits. - Conduct comprehensive electronics testing and develop effective fault isolation strategies. - Create clear and precise documentation for functional testing processes and fault isolation. - Utilize Orcad or Altium for schematic capture and design, ensuring high-quality outputs that comply with industry standards. - Diagnose faults through rigorous testing methodologies and provide solutions that enhance product reliability. - Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that technical requirements are effectively met.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related field. - A minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace engineering with a focus on safety-critical systems. - Proven experience with DO-254 standards or similar, along with familiarity with DO-160 and DAL A Design Assurance Level A. - Proficient in using design tools such as Orcad or Altium for schematic capture and electronic circuit design.
- Skills and Attributes: - Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, with the ability to diagnose faults and implement effective testing procedures. - Excellent technical writing skills to create thorough documentation for testing and fault isolation. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. - Determination and a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment. - Willingness to travel as required.
