Head Baker

We are looking for a talented and experienced Head Baker to join our team and lead baking operations at Kuro Bakery. The ideal candidate has artisanal baking provenance and will have a strong background in various baking techniques, a creative mindset, and a passion for producing high-quality baked products.,

• Develop and implement a diverse menu of breads, pastries, and desserts that reflect the Kuro Bakery brand and cater to customer preferences.


• Oversee all aspects of the baking process, from ingredient sourcing to final product presentation, ensuring consistency and quality.


• Lead, mentor, and train a team of bakers , promoting best practices and a collaborative work environment.


• Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to ensure efficient operation within budgetary guidelines.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.


• Experiment with new recipes and techniques, bringing innovation to our product offerings.


• Collaborate with management on marketing initiatives, seasonal promotions, and community events.
  
  Proven experience as a head baker, pastry chef, or similar role in an artisanal bakery or culinary setting.


• Comprehensive knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and industry trends.


• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for team development.


• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends as needed.
