Full Job Description

WE'RE HIRING

 

We are looking for a Head Brewer to join our Yates Brewery Team to focus and grow our beers across our existing customer base and beyond.

 

Skills and Requirements (Essential):

 

· Minimum of 3 Years brewing experience in a commercial brewery.

 

· Degree in Brewing or relevant field or IBD certificate/diploma equivalent or other brewing qualification.

 

· Design and creation of new recipes.

 

· Experience with Brewing all styles of beers.

 

· Packaging into cask, Keykeg and Bottles  SKU's

 

· Experience with maintaining SALSA, HACCAP and food safety standards.

 

· Experience with laboratory methods and quality control.

 

· Computer literate. Word. Excel etc

 

· Ordering of raw material etc and to keep accurate records 

 

· Production and forecasting of all Cask & Bottles Sales

Brewery Assistant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate & friendly person to join our Yates IOW Brewery  team as a Brewery Assistant 

The job role involves: -

· Cleaning casks 

· Racking beer into cask and IBCs for Transport for Bottling 

· Assisting the Head Brewer when required,

· General cleaning tasks throughout the brewery

· Maintaining a safe, tidy, and hygienic production facility according to SOPs, HACCP, SALSA Health and Safety policies and ISO 22000.

·  cleaning and sterilization of machines / vessels and Brew House 

· Forklift operation.

· Ensuring that the quality of product leaving the Brewery is always excellent.

· Clean driving licence and be physically fit as the job involves some heavy lifting.
