Full Job Description

  • Oversee all aspects of the housekeeping and laundry operations
  • Manage and train the housekeeping team to maintain high standards at all times
  • Create and implement cleaning schedules and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Monitor inventory and order cleaning supplies as and when required
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met and address any concerns promptly

    We are looking for a compassionate and caring Head Housekeeper to join our family at Chestnut Manor Care Home. We are looking for individuals who share our values, have an interest in helping others, a can-do attitude and who will treat the people we support with care, compassion and respect.
  • As Head Housekeeper you will lead and manage the housekeeping team to ensure the care home is always clean, safe and comfortable for our residents, staff and visitors.   • The right to live and work in the UK
  • Proven experience in housekeeping management, ideally within a care home or hospitality setting
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and infection control procedures
  • Strong attention to detail with a caring nature, positive attitude and the ability to work in a team
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Willing to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
