Full Job Description

We require a well-qualified Head of Art and Design for September 2025 to teach KS3, GCSE and A level in this very successful department.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes

· enthusiasm and excellent subject knowledge and practical skills,

· experience of and confidence with teaching all Art endorsements,

· excellent IT skills and an ability to use digital platforms and programs when teaching Art,

· the ability to stimulate students' creative and intellectual curiosity, interest and enthusiasm,

· a willingness to work as part of a team, promoting the work of the department and ensuring its smooth running and continued development,

· a strong commitment to the development of teaching and learning and the extra-curricular work of the department.

The department is ambitious in providing an Art education of the very highest quality in order that students may realise their full potential at all levels. It embraces innovative learning and teaching methods and is prepared to take creative risks and challenges.
