Full Job Description

Embedded in the Assets team you will be responsible for owning key strands of asset data, collaborating with stakeholders to transform it into actionable knowledge and insights, ensuring it's stored and retained according to best practices. You'll manage the asset data protocol, ensuring data from various sources, including stock condition and IoT devices, is regularly updated and serves as a single source of truth. Working with teams like Planned Investment, you will enrich asset data to ensure decisions are evidence-based and aligned with the asset management strategy. You will also leverage data to improve asset decisions, drive long-term investment planning, and identify opportunities for optimization and funding. Additionally, you'll produce reports to offer clear insights, lead service improvement projects, and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure data remains current and meets business needs.

  • Strong knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements in social housing, sustainability, and zero carbon, with ability to monitor, report, and provide recommendations.
  • Proficient in asset databases, ICT systems (eg, Excel), and data management, with experience improving data quality.
  • Skilled in building and managing stakeholder relationships, using feedback to shape strategic and operational improvements.
  • More about you You should have a strong understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements in social housing, sustainability, and zero carbon goals, with proven experience in monitoring, reporting, and providing clear recommendations. You'll need solid knowledge of asset databases and core ICT systems, particularly MS Office (eg, Excel), along with a commitment to data management principles and experience in improving data quality through on-site and desktop exercises. You should also be skilled in building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, using feedback to shape both strategic and operational outcomes. Experience with stock condition surveys, property data (including IoT), and construction project management is preferred, as is an awareness of property technology and innovation to drive lifecycle value. Additionally, experience in developing and implementing asset management strategies within large or complex organizations is a plus.
