Head of Building Control

While the two boroughs operate as separate entities with distinct budgets, you'll have the opportunity to foster collaboration in areas such as technical support, dangerous structures out-of-hours rota, and staff training. This dual-borough responsibility offers a unique perspective on the diverse building control landscape in London, from small domestic projects to large-scale urban regeneration.

We are looking for a leader who will bring extensive experience in Building Control, with a proven track record of leadership in a complex urban environment. You should possess strong technical knowledge of building regulations, fire safety, and emerging construction technologies. Your ability to navigate the unique challenges of both an inner and outer London borough will be crucial to your success in this role.
