  • Do you want to take a leading role in our new school? Are looking for a new professional challenge, setting up a subject in a new Sixth Form? Watling Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Head of Business to join our team from April 2025. As we open our Sixth Form in September 2025, you will play a key role in developing the Business Studies curriculum, guiding both our KS4 students and our first Sixth Form cohort. Our students have shown a passion to pursue Business curriculum options and this is a crucial role for the development of our school. In this role, you will oversee Business Studies across our growing Academy, ensuring the curriculum is robust, innovative and engaging. As Head of Department, you'll be responsible for driving excellence in teaching and learning, while promoting a culture of creativity and academic ambition. You will also have the opportunity to grow the curriculum offer over time. We are open to applications from experienced Heads of Department and aspiring teachers looking to take the next step in their careers. If you're excited by the chance to shape the future of our Business department and want to make a real impact in a dynamic, forward-thinking school, we'd love to hear from you. Watling Academy is part of the Denbigh Alliance MAT. The Denbigh Alliance has a track record of delivering academic success in subjects which offer students a real currency to progress into higher education or employment.
