We are looking for a professional, confident Head of Care - RMN/RNLD Qaulified, who can lead, inspire & oversee the delivery of the very best care. You'll be working 40 hours a week, at Cygnet Views located in Matlock. Cygnet Views is a 10 bed high dependency complex care service for women with learning disabilities, associated complex needs and who may have behaviours that challenge.   • Provide the highest standard of nursing care & lead by example to ensure consistently high standards of clinical care & documentation
  • Co-ordinate all clinical aspects of the service & ensure co-operation between clinical departments.
  • Be conversant with and implement all relevant policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Provide leadership, direction and supervision to all clinical and support staff
  • Support staff through debriefs, appraisals, training, meetings & development of evidence/ research-based practice
  • Deputise in the Managers absence and attend meetings with external bodies as required.

  • Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 & the latest nursing practices
  • Experience with the service user group - Learning Disabilities / Autism
  • Experienced in managing change, leadership initiatives, motivating & developing others.
  • Committed to delivering improvement strategies across all aspects of clinical service provision
  • Capable of undertaking audits, developing, following-up & ensuring completion of action plans
