Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Head of Clinical Governance within Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Working in the Quality Governance Team, you will lead on the delivery of the clinical governance agenda contributing to the delivery of safe, effective and efficient services to our patients.
The post holder will be a dynamic, inspirational and highly experienced individual leading the Trust's patient safety, clinical effectiveness and safety learning agenda.
Working in collaboration with the Associate Director of Quality Governance the post holder will provide leadership to the Trust's clinical governance strategy and the processes, systems, training, and enabling tools required to implement and embed practice., To be a role model in the promotion of a positive learning culture that supports open, proactive and effective clinical governance; the post holder will use highly developed communication skills to champion cooperative working, visibility, and staff engagement in the Trust's clinical governance ambitions., To work with staff across the Trust to enable change, improvement and engagement in clinical governance. The post holder will use highly developed persuasive and organisational skills to lead and embed the Trust's clinical governance programme.
To be an active and vocal leader; the post holder will use highly developed clinical governance knowledge and skills to provide expert advice, recommendations and guidance to senior teams, committees, sub-groups and other forums.
