Full Job Description

This post is responsible for a broad portfolio including internal and external strategic partnerships such as, MOPAC, the Home Office, Department for Communities and Levelling Up and various units within the Metropolitan Police. They are responsible for the Community Safety Team who lead on the council's response to, Serious Violence, Offender Management, Criminal Exploitation, Domestic Abuse and Violence Against Women and Girls. The Prevent Team, responsible for delivery of the borough's counter - terrorism Prevent duties and related intervention programmes, the Noise Nuisance and Anti - Social Behaviour Teams making Brent a safer place to work, live and visit., The postholder will be expected to represent the council at senior internal and external board meetings. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. Salary range: £85,899 - £105,189 p.a. inc. London weighting Contract: Permanent Hours of work: 40 hours per week Location: Civic centre and other locations from time to time
