Full Job Description

We are currently seeking to appoint a Head of Creative Arts who can demonstrate an infectious passion for teaching and expert subject knowledge with the expertise to effectively manage and motivate a team.

We would be particularly interested to receive applications from Food Preparation and Nutrition teachers.

You should have a strong background in leading a team to develop pupils' ability in the Creative Arts, across a range of subjects. At Nottingham Girls' Academy we currently deliver; Art & Design, Food Preparation & Nutrition, Graphics, Resistant Materials and Textiles as part of our curriculum.

You will be an exceptional and passionate practitioner who is keen to facilitate the progress of all pupils.

  • build positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents alike., The Academy is part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT) which has a proven track record in school improvement. The Trust provides centralised services and support to enable staff to focus on teaching. Being part of the Trust means that we are able to share specialist best practice and work collaboratively with colleagues in other academies.

    Salary: MPR/UPR plus TLR 2E
