Are you someone with experience of D2C Investment Propositions, are you keen to lead this agenda and own the D2C Investment Strategy for Aviva Direct Wealth? Then this is the role for you. Direct Wealth (D2C) is a key strategic business within Aviva's Wealth offering. Our vision is to simplify life's financial decisions so our customers can act with confidence. We have ambitions to grow to be a Market leading player in the D2C Market, with a highly stretching three-year plan. To achieve this, we need to ensure our Investment Proposition is Market leading and brings the best of Aviva to our retail customers. This is a great job for someone who wants to own the D2C investment strategy, with the autonomy to lead, with support from our wider Wealth & Advice Investment Centre of Expertise, including the recently advertised Head of Investment Strategy and Propositions A bit about the job:

  • Accountable for setting the investment strategy for Direct Wealth (D2C), working closely with Aviva Investors and the Wealth & Advice Investment COE - ensuring our customers have the right investment products for their needs.
  • Accountable for the suite of investment products and tools available to our Direct Customer base - ensuring customers have the investment products that they understand, perform as they expect and are competitively priced. This includes working with our Wealthify team to bring consistent high performance for customers across all D2C channels.
  • Responsible for working with Direct Wealth (D2C) Propositions team to ensure they have the right range of high performing retail products to build a competitive customer proposition.
  • Accountable for products and funds available to DW customers and responsible for reviewing fund range with Aviva Investors. Ensure products available align to target customer needs. Includes assessing future retail investment products inc investment pricing to support broadening of customer base (e.g. decumulation products, gilts, bonds)
  • Leads the assessment, implementation and embedding of the impact of regulatory changes or government initiatives for Direct Wealth (eg 'UK ISA', UK Wealth Fund) - linking with appropriate risk and governance representatives and frameworks within Wealth & Advice. This includes ensuring any due diligence, regulatory requirements and annual value for money assessments are completed on time with any issues resolved.

    An experienced leader with a strong track record of delivering marketing leading D2C investment propositions. Excellent understanding of key drivers in D2C investment market with excellent understanding of SIPPs/ ISA's/GIA/ ETF's/ Equity trading for retail customers. Includes in-depth knowledge of Direct Wealth (D2C) offerings and customer base to identify investment proposition opportunities.
  • Gravitas and credibility, dealing with and influencing internal and external stakeholders at all levels with confidence. Skilled internal and external communicator with strong external presentation and speaking abilities.
  • Customer focused, driven and passionate with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Good understanding of investment markets, asset classes, fund types, asset management techniques and styles, including a strong understanding of ESG
  • Strong knowledge of the regulatory environment for investment platforms, including specifically MiFID rules and FCA's rulebook for Platform Service Providers (PSPs) and comfort in operating under a shared service legal entity model
