Full Job Description

The Head of Digital and Retail Solution, based in London, will report to the Global Head of the D365 Programme, and will plan, define, and lead the successful D365 Operational integration within our Digital and Retail ecosystem and points of sale. Through ensuring that the D365 end to end functionality and processes are meeting key local Business and Client needs, across our Omnichannel environment, this role will ensure a successful D365 executional Operational flow within our evolving Chanel system landscape and will contribute to the foundation for a long-term Omnichannel vision. Acting as the key Business partner for Global Digital Systems Chanel.com team as well as senior Stakeholders in Regions, this role will ensure migration of existing Chanel.com service and functionality, as well as partnering with Global and Regional Tech to ensure the new Retail solution is fit for purpose and meets Operational requirements. E-Commerce & Retail Business Solution Planning & Execution

  • Lead D365 Business scope for existing ONE Chanel.com back end as well as Retail POS, partnering with GDS, Retail teams, Global D365 and market teams to migrate to new D365 solution, ensuring business continuity throughout and the best Operational process end to end integration between POS, Chanel.com and the D365 solution
  • Drive overall Digital and Retail Operational strategy withing our D365 ecosystem, with clear objectives, partnering with technical and Business teams on scope definition, inputting into process design and governance, and ensuring operational excellence and efficiency is at the centre
  • Drive planning for an enhanced D365 solution, ensuring key optimisations for better process and efficiency, ensuring the Digital Operational strategy and systematic integration requirements is factored into all decision making and is aligned to end client programmes
  • Synthesizes Omnichannel Regional requirements to consider for future development or functionality releases, leading continuous improvement initiatives to improve the end to end process and solution and ensure a best in class functionality
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnerships
  • Critical Business partner for Global Digital Services Team, Regional Heads of Operations, Global Warehouse Management Teams and Chanel.com stakeholders and Market Leadership to ensure all D365 planning and deliverables are aligned to deliver critical E-Commerce solution changes and support Operational Functional Business needs
  • Leads and facilitates regular reviews with the HERO Collaborative Framework, Global Process Owners and Process Leads to ensure the needs of the Digital and Retail business are being identified, evaluated, and prioritised
  • Manages stakeholder buy-in for new and changed D365 processes, working closely with Business Owners and Process Community, as well as working closely with GDS, Regional Heads of Operations, Regional and Local Process Experts, guiding on user needs, whilst supporting adoption of new processes
  • Partners with HERO Change & Communications to clearly identify Change impacts to roles and responsibilities and coordinates with Digital and Retail Community to assist, manage and support changes to roles and responsibilities in-region
  • Drive system and process knowledge across Digital and Retail communities and key Global Stakeholders to ensure success of solution implementation and adoption
  • Act as a trusted HERO adviser to the Global Digital Services team, Operational Leads and Digital and Retail communities

  • Supporting a Finance & Operations Transformation engagement on a Global Scale, of critical importance to C-Suite Sponsors and the business, across multiple regions and multiple Delivery partners
  • Developing Transformational Business strategies and frameworks and seeing them through operational delivery
  • Leading and thinking innovatively of different ways to approach projects & challenges, leveraging insights, data, and strategic planning
  • Working in a highly collaborative, complex matrix and international environment
  • Collaborating and influencing across Leadership and our Global teams to bring insights, solutions, relevancy and depth of Strategic decisions

    Digital and Retail Business Transformation and Strategic Planning experience with proven track record for delivering innovative Transformation strategies with positive impact; supporting business growth and culture evolution
  • Strategic thinking and planning, with business and culture acumen, translating business goals into actionable and meaningful strategies
  • Expertise in an Omnichannel Digital and Retail landscape with experience working with client-facing technologies
  • Effective at managing complexity; working in a multi-cultural, global matrix environment with Strong Stakeholder Management, influence and change management skills
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, and effectively prioritize multiple tasks of varying complexities
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, able to work collaboratively, manage conflicts and challenges in a complex environment
  • Preferred extensive experience and delivery expertise including in-depth knowledge in Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations (ERP) and Microsoft Power Platform applications
  • 12-18 years total experience in a Digital, Retail, Tech or Operations function
