Full Job Description

As our Head of Data, you will be instrumental in transforming CGA into a data-driven organisation. You will lead the implementation of our Data Strategy, creating a culture where data is used to enhance customer service and drive continuous improvement.

You will lead a team to deliver a robust data governance framework ensuring high quality data across all our systems and to develop solutions that deliver insight and intelligence to the organisation.

As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will provide visible and engaging leadership to maintain a culture of high performance.

  • You will have significant experience in a similar role, working with numerous complex housing systems.

  • You are an inspirational leader, with the ability to manage and motivate people, and to influence stakeholders across the organisation.

  • You have extensive knowledge of standards, guidance and best practice relating to data governance.

  • You have experience of developing and implementing change within a complex environment.

  • It would be great if you also had:
  • DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) qualification.

Community Gateway own and manage almost 7,000 homes across the city of Preston and surrounding areas, but we are so much more than just a landlord. We aim to offer great customer service, providing safe, well-maintained and affordable homes, and making a positive difference to the communities in which we work. We make sure that we manage our business to the highest of standards and are working to create a sustainable future.

  • And finally, we want to be a great place to work….so if you think you have the skills, experience and can live our values, then we want to hear from you.

Our team is what makes us who we are. We aim for a great employee experience and that includes offering a range of benefits, including a generous holiday allowance, your birthday off, Christmas closure, free parking, a health cash-plan, reward and recognition scheme and much more.

Inclusion is key for us. We would love to hear from people from diverse backgrounds for this role, and second languages come in handy.

    Working arrangements:

This role has the opportunity to work both from our gorgeous dock-front offices and at home. You should generally expect to be in the office the majority of the time, with flexibility given to accommodate business and personal needs.
