Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a Head of Design & Technology to lead our high achieving and well resourced department. We are offering a UPS/MPR salary plus Outer London Weighting , TLR1a + RR for the right candidate Applications are invited from enthusiastic Design and Technology teachers with a specialism in Product Design who wish to develop their career within a creative and supportive department. You will join a school which offers opportunities to access outstanding practice and is fully committed to technology learning at all key stages. The individual we are seeking to appoint will be dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated in developing the life chances of our young people and further strengthening the role of the creative subjects within the school. We offer Product Design, Textiles and Food at both KS3 and 4 with strong uptake at GCSE. We also offer Product Design at KS5. The department has a strong enrichment offer and there is a key leadership commitment to maintain the excellent provision as part of our STEM strategy.
